Dr. Deena El-Shirbiny
Dr. Deena El-Shirbiny trained at the prestigious University College London Medical School. After graduating in 2003 she completed Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and subsequently embarked on training in general practice. During her career, she has gained clinical experience in a variety of clinical environments including Nepal and Egypt as well as an extended period of time working as a GP in Australia.
Dr. Deena El-Shirbiny is currently an NHS general practitioner in Nottingham in a large and busy practice serving a diverse population as well as working regularly for the local out of hours service.
She has a particular interest in general medicine and women's health, and has recently published a book to aid other doctors studying for the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG). In addition, she has volunteered with a number of organisations in the UK including Medecins du Monde.
Outside of medicine, Dr Deena El-Shirbiny enjoys spending time with her three young children, travel, modern literature and yoga.
