Costs - Subscriptions
Here is everything you need to know about subscriptions through babylon. If you think we've missed anything, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Q. How do I subscribe?
A. You will be prompted to subscribe or pay for a one off consultation when you book a consultation through the app. Alternatively you can go to My Settings, Subscriptions and select your Payment Choice there.
You will receive confirmation of your subscription via email.
Q. How do I renew my subscription?
A. Each month your subscription will be renewed automatically unless you change your subscription to Pay-as-you-go. To change your subscription go to Clinical Records, select Subscriptions, Edit, select the subscription you wish to edit and then select the Payment Choice.
Q. How do I change my subscription?
A. To change your subscription go to My Settings in the top left hand corner of the babylon home-screen, Subscriptions, select the subscription you wish to edit and then select the Payment Choice. You have the choice of a Monthly Subscription or to pay-as-you-go.
Q. How do I cancel my subscription?
A. Please go to My Settings in the top left hand corner of the babylon home-screen > Subscriptions > Edit > select the Monthly Subscription you would like to cancel > tap on the red circle.
You will be switched to Pay-As-You-Go and not be charged a monthly fee. You can continue to use all the other features and pay for GP consultations as you need them. Please note if you cancel your subscription half way through the month you will be charged for the whole month and not refunded for any unused period.
You will be sent emails confirming payments and cancellations.
Q. Will I be charged for cancelling my subscription?
A. If you subscribe, have a consultation, and then unsubscribe before the end of your first month of subscription you will be charged an additional £20 to cover the cost of your single appointment.
Q. How much notice do I have to give to cancel my membership?
A. You can cancel your membership at any time but we wont refund for unused period of subcription. Please email email@example.com to cancel your subscription.
Q. Is there a maximum limit to the number of consultations I can have under my subscription?
A. No. A subscription allows you to have an unlimited number of GP consultations. For more information on pricing please see our pricing page.
Q. Does my subscription cover my immediate family members?
A. No your subscription only covers you. However, you can subscribe your family members through Family Accounts, and you don't have to be subscribed yourself to do this.
Q. If I want to book a consultation with a Specialist, is this included in my subscription?
A. No it is not. As a monthly subscriber you will pay just £49 for an appointment with a babylon specialist. For pay-as-you-go members a specialist appointment costs £79.
