We believe that you should be able to order the tests you want, to better understand your health, when you want them. We also believe that everyone should be testing themselves much more regularly, making it easier for bigger health problems to be caught earlier on. 


Q. What is Tests and Kits?

A. Tests and Kits is a clinical test-kit shop. Here you can browse and purchase the tests you want, when you want them. The tests will be delivered to your home and your results will be uploaded to the 'Monitor your health' feature just 48 hours after your samples are received. 


Q. Will I have to pay?

A. Yes. The test kits are there to purchase when you would like to know more about what's going on under your skin.


Q. How do I know the price of each test and kit available?

A. The prices are displayed next to each item in the app. Delivery of each item is free and you will not have to pay to send your sample back to our supplier.


Q. If my blood test results come back and they are abnormal, what do I do?

A. Don't panic. Blood results can be abnormal for a number of reasons, however it is important to know and understand the nature of the abnormality. You will receive a notification from the GP who has analysed your results advising you to book a consultation and speak to one of our doctors.


Q. How long will my order take to be received?

A. If your order is received before 3pm Monday to Friday your order will be dispatched same day and normally received the next day. Any order received outside these hours will be dispatched the next business day. 


Q. What type of blood test is this? Will instructions be included?

A. Please note that if you order a home blood test kit this will take the form of a finger prick sample test. All instructions will be included in the kit, please ensure you read the instructions carefully to ensure the accuracy of your results. 


Q. I have not received my order and it has been more than two days, what do I do?

A. Please contact support@babylonhealth.com and we will be able to check the status of your order with the supplier. 


Q. When should I do the test once I have received it?

A. We would suggest doing the test in the morning so that you can send the sample back on the same day that your sample is taken. This will minimise the chances of your samples spoiling.


Q. How long will it take to receive my blood test results?

A. After posting your samples to the supplier they will be analysed and a result usually received within 48 hours.  


Q. How do I access my results?

A. When your results are received they will be populated into the different sections of Monitor, depending on the type of blood test ordered. You will also receive a notification in app when your blood results have been analysed by a babylon GP.  


Q. I am unsure if I should order a home blood test kit, where can I find more information about this?

A. If you're ever unsure about any medical-related issue you can speak with a babylon GP. They can analyse your 'Monitor your health' profile and advise you of the best test to take. 


Q. I have received my order but it is damaged or faulty, what should I do?

A. If you have any concerns about your order please contact the supplier directly to arrange another item being sent. If you require further information please contact support@babylonhealth.com


Q. If my blood test results come back and my sample could not be analysed will I be sent another one?

A. If we receive your sample and it cannot be analysed we will ensure that another kit is sent to you free of charge. However, it is very important that you read the instructions carefully and do what you can to make sure your samples are viable. 


Q. I have ordered a test but I don't want to do it anymore. Will I be refunded?

A. If you order a test and don't want to complete it straight away you will have up to six months, depending on the expiry date on the pack. If you would like to return the pack, please follow the return instructions and we will arrange refunding of the blood analysis. Unfortunately you will not be refunded for the cost of the pack.
