Professor Malcolm Rustin




Professor Malcolm Rustin is a consultant dermatologist with over 30 years of experience. He is the immediate past Academic Vice-President of the British Association of Dermatologists, and is a Past President of the Section of Dermatology at the Royal Society of Medicine. He was awarded a Personal Chair in University College London in 2011.

Professor Rustin has expertise in all areas of dermatology, including inflammatory conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers. He also holds particular interest in the skin manifestations of internal medical problems.

Professor Rustin trained in dermatology at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and at the Middlesex and University College Hospitals, London. He is author of over 190 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
