Highlands Surgery and Eastwood Group Practice FAQ

Q. How does your relationship with the NHS work?

A. We have partnered with the NHS to provide an alternative method for you to see an NHS doctor. In so doing we hope to alleviate pressure on traditional appointments, reduce waiting times, and improve patient convenience and access to healthcare professionals.

Dr. Paul Husselbee, Partner at the Highlands Surgery, Essex said:

The results so far have been very encouraging with uptake building month on month. There has been a high level of patient satisfaction and the numbers of extra patients attending the surgery has decreased. Waiting times for routine appointments at the surgery have gone down by a week.”

Q. Why change the NHS?

A. Currently it is necessary to have a face-to-face consultation with a GP to ask even the simplest medical question. With babylon you can make an appointment in seconds, for an audio or video consultation, at a time that suits you. We hope that our partnership with the NHS will extend to make healthcare more accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Q. Do you work with all NHS GP surgeries?

A. No, unfortunately not. At the moment we work only with the Highland Surgery and the Eastwood Group Practice in Essex.
