If you’re facing self-isolation with an abusive partner or you’re concerned about a loved one that is, this page has useful information and links for where to find help.
Taking that very first step is often the hardest, but we want you to know that you’re strong, resourceful and that you can do it. And when you do - you’ll find many helpful hands will reach out and guide you through the hardest of times.

Emergency help
If you are in immediate danger, please call 999 and ask for the police.
If you are not safe to speak, use the Silent Solution system by calling 999 and then pressing 55 when prompted if using a mobile or waiting to be connected through to the police automatically if using a landline.
If you're deaf, hard of hearing or speech-impaired, you can use the textphone service 18000 or text 999 if you’ve pre-registered with the emergencySMS service.
