California Virtual Doctor Appointments

Digital healthcare gives patients more convenience and reassurance, because you can access a doctor right from your phone. Typically, 80% of health issues can be handled by a video appointment*.

Chat with a healthcare provider at a time that works for you and get referrals for specialists in dermatology, psychiatry, and more. High-quality telehealth is getting more important. That's why we're here to answer your questions about telemedicine and virtual doctor visits.

How it Works

Download the app and enter the special consumer-network code to access video appointments at no cost through your health plan

Choose a time and book your appointment through the Babylon app.

Find a quiet, private location for your appointment. Your healthcare provider will hold your call through the app. Make sure your Babylon app can send you alerts by accepting push notifications.

When your appointment begins, your provider will discuss your symptoms and questions with you.

Your provider will use your discussion and medical history to give treatment options. If needed, they may write a prescription, order tests, refer you to a local specialist, advise you to self-monitor, or schedule a follow-up appointment.

Your provider's notes and any test results will be added to your account.
