COVID-19 Care Assistant

If you’re finding it hard to access information about coronavirus, or are self-isolating, we’re here to help.

Meet our free COVID-19 Care Assistant, created to make it easy for you to take care of yourself and the ones you love.

How it works

Designed by doctors using the latest technology

Our COVID-19 Care Assistant offers free information about COVID-19. You can access it through the Babylon app.

Here’s how the app can help if your health plan makes the Babylon app available to you, in 4 easy steps.

Step 1

Get the latest information

Our COVID-19 Care Assistant gives you continuously-updated information about coronavirus.

The Care Assistant covers topics like self-isolation and the safest ways to take care of someone who has coronavirus. Our information comes from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and available practice guidelines.

Step 2

Access our Chatbot and live chat

Our Chatbot recognizes what might be COVID-19 symptoms and suggests possible next steps. You can access it via the app, and use the live chat feature to ask questions and receive guidance from a support agent.

Step 3

Implement a Care Plan

After you get information about your symptoms, our COVID-19 Care Assistant will give you a Care Plan with articles and tips for dealing with COVID-19, based on the latest recommendations of the CDC, World Health Organization, and available practice guidelines.

You’ll get daily notifications reminding you to track your symptoms, information for the isolation period, and general tips for your physical and mental wellbeing.

Step 4

Speak to a healthcare expert

Our COVID-19 Care Assistant allows you to have a video consultation with a clinician via your smartphone. It could save you a trip to the doctor. After you enter your symptoms, the Symptom Checker will give you suggestions for your next steps.

If you feel like you need to speak to a healthcare professional in real time, you can book a video consultation right from the app.

The Babylon Chatbot is a symptom checker. It is for informational purposes only. Do not use the Babylon Chatbot for diagnosis or treatment. Do not use it for managing any condition, including COVID-19. It does not replace the advice of a healthcare provider. If you need medical advice, please book an appointment with a provider. You can do this through the Babylon app. You can also do this by contacting your primary care provider. If you are having a life-threatening emergency, please call 911. Only adults located in the United States should use the Babylon Chatbot. Do not use it if you are pregnant. The Babylon Chatbot is based on established sources like the CDC, WHO, medical journals, public health databases, and practice guidelines.
