Blood Lymphatic System

Our various body parts and organs are interconnected by a large number of vessels, including arteries, veins and the lymphatic system.

The blood that travels in our bodies has many functions, such as transporting oxygen and nutrients to wherever needed. Lymph is part of the body’s immune system and also helps to drain fluid from the body’s tissues and into the circulation. It also removes waste produced by cells.

If you’re worried about any blood conditions or problems with your lymphatic system, our GPs can discuss any concerns that you might have. Download the app and speak to a GP today.
