Musculoskeletal System

The musculoskeletal system comprises of the human skeleton and the muscles, ligaments and tendons attached to it. The function of our musculoskeletal system is to give us shape, keep us upright and moving.

Bone, joint and muscle problems are incredibly common with most of us experiencing muscle aches or joint pains on a regular basis. Often the cause is related to overexertion, repetitive strain or minor injuries. In such cases the condition gets better by itself but sometimes aches and pains continue to get worse.

If you’ve got persisting or recurrent musculoskeletal symptoms, our GPs are here to help and can discuss any concerns that you might have.

Examination of the affected body part can often be done digitally and doesn’t always require a face to face appointment. Download the app and speak to a GP today.
